About Amanda
I received my BA in French (and one in Psychology) from Colgate University, and I currently teach at a bilingual school in Massachusetts. I studied at the Université de Bourgogne in 2017 and led a culturally immersive student travel program through France, Switzerland, Italy and Holland in 2019. I have also spent time living and studying in Italy, so I am offering beginner Italian tutoring as well.

My teaching method is primarily immersive. I have studied French, Italian, and Spanish to proficiency and fluency, and I have found the immersive approach to be the most effective technique for language acquisition. However, my technique is need-based and adaptable. I will therefore cater my approach to the student's learning style and will explain lessons in English as well, if necessary.
