About Marina
Hello! I am a French Language Assistant at a private school as well as a Monash university graduate with a double degree in Education (Honours)/Arts! I previously attended Haileybury Girls College and have continued to study French into university. So I do intend to be a French teacher one day! :) I hope to practice one on one teaching in a more relaxed environment and want to see my students succeed in their French endeavors! With my experience of doing French since 5 years old, completing VCE French, and also going on international exchange in Paris for a semester, I believe I have the necessary skills and experience to teach you on both the grammar side of French as well as the culture side!

My lessons will consist of two parts which can be mixed and matched accordingly. This will be based on individual student needs as well as specific assessments coming up. These lessons can include two sections from this list: - French Speaking - French Reading/Comprehension - French Listening - French Writing - SAC Questions - VCE Practice Exam Questions - Specific help with homework/assessment tasks. The 30 mins of the first lesson with each student will be a gauge on the student’s level of French and their specific needs that they would like to focus on.

Perfect! Marina is attentive, detail orientated, patient and a very friendly teacher! It was great learning from a native French speaker, as this helped me focus on getting pronounciation right. Marina will tailor lessons to suit whatever your needs, and her lessons are fun and interactive. I would highly reccomend her !

Marina is incredibly passionate about education which is reflective of how much of a fantastic teacher she is! She has an incredibly strong background in French and alongside her very friendly and engaging personality, she provides a high quality tutoring service to her students which are interactive and manifest excellent results.
When I was learning with her, she would break down the things I would have a hard time understanding and explain how and why this would work in depth. She would give me some worksheets to exercise my learning and assessed how I learned so she could adjust what I need to learn later on. Marina is someone who values an individual’s education and will be enthusiastic when doing so, and I appreciate the time she took with me

My prices start at a fixed rate of $70 as it is a specialized subject that I am teaching in, that range from grammar, writing, speaking, as well as specialized help catered to students’ needs. The added $5 are to cover travel cost if there is face to face teaching involved, as well as potential worksheets needed to be printed out.
