About Jane
I would describe myself as a very approachable and bubbly character, with a dedicated and passionate attitude towards helping people learn. My level of Spanish is fluent and I have a Post Graduate Certificate of Education, with my specialism in Spanish. My undergraduate degree was in Spanish, with a year's experience of living in Northern Spain. Prior to going into teaching I worked as a Mental Health Practitioner for 7 years and studied two Masters degrees in Psychology and CBT. In 2013 I took a career change and went into Primary Teaching. However in addition to this I offer private Spanish tuition on a one and small group basis to all ages. I particularly love one to one teaching as I see the rewards more closely, for example when a student thanks for me their help in boosting their GCSE grade to an A.
