About Kavin
Hi I'm Kavin - a 19 year old currently studying Chemistry with Molecular Physics (MSci) at Imperial College London where I just completed the first year of my degree with a First Class grade. I have achieved (3A*'s) A*A*A* at A level in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and (A*/8/9) in my science and maths GCSE's.
Through 100+ hours of 1 to 1 tutoring experience teaching lower students over the past 2 years, I've learnt the importance of a friendly and patient approach for the best results. I love the physical sciences and am excited to see others build up a keen interest in them too !
I am happy to tutor all stages up to A-Level for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. I understand that a different method of teaching is required for every unique student. I will provide trusted resources that I have gained a lot for myself that help with understanding basic concepts or mastering exam technique.
Outside academia, my interests lie in music and sports. I have just passed my grade 8 in Piano having achieved distinctions and merits in past exams.

Kavin is an extremely motivated, mature and conscientious student, who has been in both my tutor group and A-Level Physics class. He is a very capable student of Physics/Science/Maths, who has aspirations to continue with further study at University. He was on course to achieve the highest available grades this summer, before the current crisis occurred. He would be more than capable of tutoring in this subject to GCSE as I have witnessed him supporting students in my intervention sessions prior to school's closing, he has knowledge of course details and revision methods applicable in this subject.
Kavin is a top student in chemistry. He was not in a top set at GCSE but worked hard to achieve top grades.
He has excelled at Chemistry since he started the course, achieving top grades in all progress tests. In a very academic class he has overtaken students in a higher class at GCSE.
He has always been very open to showing his peers the method to obtain the correct answer when they were struggling.
