About Scott
I lived in Japan for 15 years and worked in different industries. I taught English at the Hiroshima Institute of Technology. When I tutor, I reflect on my own experience learning Japanese and Mandarin. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, but after college, I've always lived outside of the U.S.

My method of teaching you all depends on where you are and what you want. I don't think it's realistic otherwise. But I do think it's important to make sure your basics are good and work on the problems. I do not emphasize speed, as speed comes naturally. I do not appreciate the mindset that everything is okay as long as you can communicate. :)

Perfect! Scott uses a very easy and fun methodology. Lessons well thought out overall a real delight!
