About Subatra

Meet Your Teacher

Hello! I’m your English Tutor.
For over two decades, my life’s work has been centered around the power of language. As a seasoned secondary school English educator and lecturer, I have spent more than 20 years guiding students through the nuances of the English language across both public and international school spectrums.
Beyond my classroom experience, my dedication to education has led me into advanced academic research, where I continuously study how students learn best in today’s diverse educational landscape.

Why I Teach
To me, teaching has never been just a profession—it is a lifelong passion.
Over the past 20 years, I have seen firsthand how mastering English can completely transform a student’s trajectory. It’s the key that unlocks academic doors, builds global perspectives, and gives young people the power to articulate their ideas with clarity and conviction.
I choose to offer private tutoring because I love the magic of the "aha!" moment—that breakthrough instant when a struggling student suddenly understands a complex text, or when a quiet student finds the confidence to write a brilliant, compelling essay.
Every student has a unique story, a unique learning style, and an untapped well of potential. My mission is to find the exact key that unlocks that potential for your child, turning English from a daunting subject into their greatest strength

Let’s embark on this learning journey together. Reach out today to schedule a diagnostic session!

About the lesson

"No two students learn the same way. A generic worksheet will never replace a mentor who truly understands your child's unique voice."
With over 20 years of teaching across both public and international school systems, I’ve learned that true mastery of English doesn't come from memorizing grammar rules—it comes from building confidence. My private tutoring is entirely tailored to the individual, focusing on three core pillars:
Curriculum Adaptability: Whether navigating the specific demands of public school examinations or unlocking the critical thinking required in international school syllabi, I adapt my teaching methods to match the exact standards your child needs to meet.
Targeted Skills Development: We don’t waste time on what a student already knows. From the very first session, I identify specific gaps—whether it’s structuring a high-scoring essay, mastering complex grammar, or sharpening analytical reading—and build a roadmap just for them.
A Safe Space to Grow: Learning a language requires taking risks. I foster an encouraging, interactive environment where students feel safe to make mistakes, ask questions, and find their unique literary voice.
The Result? Students don't just pass their exams; they walk away with a genuine command of the English language and the confidence to use it in the real world.
