My methodology of teaching is mixed and I would not have it any other way. Each individual student does not learn in the same way and therefore, why should I teach every lesson in the same way or style? Finding the correct balance between direct instruction and a constructivist approach can help reach a wider range of students, learning styles and thus, faster understanding.
