About Lucy
Hi, I’m Lucy, an 18-year-old tutor with A-levels in Maths, Biology and Chemistry (AAA). Alongside my studies, I’ve spent the last few years working as a riding instructor, teaching a wide range of ages and abilities.
This experience has given me strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to explain things clearly in a way that makes sense. I really enjoy helping students build confidence, especially those who may feel unsure or overwhelmed with certain subjects.
I’m reliable, approachable and committed to helping each student progress in a way that works for them.

My lessons are designed to be calm, supportive and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I understand that subjects like maths and science can feel overwhelming, so I focus on breaking topics down into simple, clear steps that are easy to follow.
I adapt each lesson depending on the student, whether they need help building confidence, catching up on missed content, or preparing for exams. I am particularly good at working with students who feel stuck or unsure, helping them progress at their own pace without pressure.
Lessons are structured but flexible, with a focus on understanding rather than memorising. I aim to create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and can gradually build both their knowledge and confidence.
