About Zora
"Trigonometry, geometry, and SAT/ACT math prep are core components of my instruction. Arithmetic and number sense alongside coordinate geometry define my daily focus.
I have taught 497 students across these disciplines. My training stems from a General Assembly bootcamp followed by 11 years of building software. I learned math by using it to solve technical problems, which informs how I explain these topics today."

"Often, I admit that equations mean little until they are converted into actual logic. Personalizing the math means showing how an algorithm relies on the geometric principles we just practiced. Because I have 11 years of experience as a software engineer, I connect trigonometry to screen coordinates and arithmetic to data processing.
It is okay to struggle with a concept at first. We will simply adjust the angle of our approach until the logic clicks."
