About Christopher
I started teaching somewhat during high school, when I found myself often explaing math and physics course contents to students in my classes. This formalized during my undergraduate studies, where I worked a few hours per week.
I have a B.S. in physics and I was a few courses short of a B.S. in mathematics from UC Santa Cruz. I have also been tutoring throughout my undergraduate years.
Recently, I have been teaching as part of my graduate appointment at UCLA, primarily in introductory undergraduate courses.

I generally like to assess where the student is, in particular by looking at past homeworks, quizzes and exams. Once I have an idea, I will begin working through their school -assigned problems in detail, providing explanations and examples for misunderstood concepts.
I have worked mainly with late high school and college level students.
Come with questions prepared. Don't be afraid to show areas wherein you lack understanding; the most fundamental questions are the most important.
Try to engage with the exercises regularly for reinforcement.
I have been mentoring an undergraduate student at UCLA who recently was admitted to physics graduate school.
