About Teya
I am a 26 year old living in London with a passion for Geography. Growing up (at school) I was not offered the support and optimism by teachers. Therefore I am eager to provide positive and progressive guidance and teaching to others in order for them to excel their knowledge and understanding of the broad topic of Geography.

As a geography tutor, my goal is to make the subject come alive by connecting classroom topics to the real world. I believe that geography is more than memorising maps—it's about understanding how people, places, and environments interact every day. I tailor each lesson to the student’s level, learning style, and curriculum—whether they’re preparing for GCSE or just trying to build confidence in class. My sessions include a mix of: Visual aids (maps, diagrams, videos) Real-world case studies (both classic and current events) Interactive tools like quizzes, games, and exam-style questions Above all, I aim to build curiosity and critical thinking. We go beyond the textbook—exploring why geography matters, and how it shapes our lives. I also help students develop strong exam techniques: understanding command words, structuring longer answers, and managing time effectively. Whether you're aiming for a top grade or need help catching up, I’ll meet you where you are and guide you forward step by step.
