About Beatriz
Hello, my name is Beatriz and I am Portuguese. Originally born and raised in Macau (China), I have always been in close contact with different cultures and people. I am currently doing my Master Studies in International Management, at NUS in Singapore. Given my current studying program, I had the chance to study in Norway and now in The Netherlands. Some of my interests are music, art, design, and sustainability.

I am currently a Maths tutor (conducted in the Portuguese language). I tutor 1-1 online, using tools like my iPad and computer to improve the efficiency of the class. I share my screen and help the student with all exercises needed. I have been tutoring this student for 1.5 years now and she has improved her average grade from 50% to 85% (out of 100%).
I have also tutored Portuguese to a class of 5-10 students previously for non-native speakers. For these classes, I prepared weekly a set of slides with the materials and topics to be taught on that day. These would include exercises from grammar to vocabulary. I tutored this group for the period of 1-2 months with classes 2 times a week, and if needed providing support off class hours. They have improved their Portuguese level and succeeded in completing all the class topics and materials scheduled to be taught.
I also provide a monthly report to the student's parents on the progress seen in the previous weeks and areas to be improved in the future.
