About Maria
I am an MA graduate in English Language and Literature with experience as an Assistant Professor and a current career as a Senior Copywriter. Along with teaching Literature, I have been involved in academic research, published research articles, and guided postgraduate students with their thesis and research work.
My academic experience has given me practical exposure to research planning, literature reviews, academic writing, structuring arguments, working with sources and presenting ideas clearly. My professional experience as a Senior Copywriter has further strengthened my skills in writing, editing, research and communicating complex ideas effectively.
I focus on guiding students through their own research and ideas rather than simply providing ready-made work. My aim is to help you understand your research process, strengthen your arguments and produce clear, well-structured academic writing with confidence.

My classes are designed to provide practical, step-by-step guidance for students working on academic research, projects, theses, dissertations and SOPs.
Each session is tailored to the student's topic, academic level and stage of work. We can work together on areas such as:
Choosing and refining a research topic
Developing research questions and objectives
Planning a research project or thesis
Finding, evaluating and organising sources
Understanding and writing a literature review
Developing a research methodology
Structuring chapters and arguments
Academic writing and critical analysis
Referencing and citation practices
Reviewing and improving drafts
Proofreading and language editing
Preparing research presentations
Planning and writing effective SOPs
A typical class begins by identifying the student's current challenge or stage of research. We then work through the problem step by step, with explanations, examples and practical exercises where appropriate.
For thesis and research work, I focus on guidance rather than doing the work for you. The aim is to help you understand your research, develop your own arguments and become more confident in academic writing.
Classes are suitable for undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as applicants who need guidance with academic or research-focused SOPs
