About Shazia
I have tutored since I was 16. I am very good with kids and though math is my strongest point (I got 98% for math and 99% for math paper 3 in matric), I also specialize in science, biology, English and geography. I have tutored for over 10 years and know how to approach any type of student. I used to au pair for a family with a 10 year old, 12 year old and 14 year old so I have more intimate experience with kids of all ages.

Tutoring only works if it’s student specific. Everyone learns in different ways. For auditory learners I explain concepts and give background before I start writing anything. For visual learners I start with diagrams and illustrations. Some students struggle concentrating, for these students I make sure we take short breaks as a reward for doing something right.
