My lessons are relaxed, practical and tailored to your goals. With over 20 years of experience playing piano in church, I specialise in teaching students how to play by ear.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or already have some experience, I’ll help you understand chords, melodies and progressions, while building your confidence at the piano. We can focus on gospel, worship and contemporary music, using songs you actually enjoy.
My goal is to help you develop the skills to hear a song and work out how to play it yourself.

was an amazing tutor. I have additional needs and he was incredibly accommodating understanding and supportive throughout our sessions, we had a lot of material to cover but he was very patient and never made me feel rushed or overwhelmed. He took the time to explain things clearly and made sure I understood everything before moving on. I really appreciated his patience and the way he adapted his teaching to support me. I would definitely recommend him!
Tolu has been an excellent tutor to young people in our youth club. He is knowledgeable, patient and funny. All the young people look forward to his lessons. He is good one-to-one and in group settings. I would recommend him anyday.
Genuinely really amazing. They knew exactly what they were talking about and were an overall excellent guide and incredibly patient. Looking forward to playing more music.
