About Khadeeja
Hi! Welcome to my tutoring services!
I’m a Grade 11 STEM student taking a full AP course load, with a strong interest in science and healthcare. I’m part of the Health and Wellness SHSM program and have been involved in HOSA for the past two years, where I’ve learned a lot about both science and leadership.
Outside of school, I’ve volunteered and worked in healthcare and community settings, including a hospital environment and local food banks. I’ve also helped with charity and fundraising efforts for the Ovarian Cancer Society of Canada. These experiences have helped me grow as a person and taught me the importance of responsibility and giving back to my community.
I’ve been tutoring classmates alongside my own schoolwork, mainly helping with science-related subjects. As a student myself, I understand how overwhelming school can feel sometimes, especially with fast-paced classes. I focus on explaining things clearly, patiently, and in a way that actually makes sense.
I’m especially interested in health and wellness and continue exploring these areas through my SHSM studies. Students and parents can expect someone who is organized, supportive, and genuinely invested in helping students build confidence and succeed in school.

I use a mastery-based, student-centered approach focused on real understanding rather than memorization for the purpose of "finishing the syllabus". Lessons are paced to the student, breaking concepts down to their simplest form and rebuilding them step by step using visuals, analogies, active recall, and guided practice.
Each lesson will include a brief review to identify gaps, clear explanations, practice with immediate feedback, independent questions, and guidance on what to practice next. Gaps in understanding (which are normal and nothing to be ashamed of) are addressed directly rather than ignored.
I tutor from personal experience, having struggled academically during the transition to high school, I had to relearn how to learn. This allows me to anticipate common mistakes and explain concepts in ways that actually make sense.
I work best with students in grades 5–10, especially those who feel overwhelmed by fast-paced classes or don’t thrive in traditional classroom settings.
