About Jack
About Me
Hi, I’m Jack, a motivated and friendly Year 12 student currently studying Law, English Language and Public Services at Bolton Sixth Form College. I have a strong interest in English and achieved a Grade 6 in GCSE English, and I am continuing to develop my English skills through my A-Level studies.
I’m a patient, responsible and approachable person who enjoys helping others understand things and build their confidence. My experience through the Duke of Edinburgh Award, Scouts and other activities has helped me develop strong communication, teamwork, organisation and leadership skills.
As I am a student myself, I understand that learning can sometimes feel difficult or stressful. I aim to make my lessons relaxed, supportive and easy to understand, while adapting my approach to suit each student.
I would be particularly happy to support younger students with their English, including reading, writing, spelling, grammar, comprehension and general schoolwork.

I offer friendly and supportive English lessons designed to help students build confidence and improve their skills. I use a patient, step-by-step approach, adapting each lesson to the student’s ability and areas that need improvement. I can help with reading, writing, spelling, grammar, comprehension and preparation for school assessments.
Lessons would typically last around 45–60 minutes, giving enough time to introduce a topic, practise it together and review what the student has learnt.
I have completed my GCSE English and understand the challenges students can face when preparing for exams and improving their English. As a current student myself, I aim to make lessons relaxed, approachable and easy to understand.
My lessons are best suited to primary and KS3 students who want extra support with English, homework, schoolwork or building their confidence.
