About Laura
I am currently 19 years old and playing at grade 8 piano standard. I have passed my music theory with distinction and since the age of 10, I have been composing. I have uploaded songs onto YouTube and composed for a mobile game. I find this to be an amazing creative outlet which I would love to share with others. I love bringing joy to students when they are able to play something which they thought they wouldn't be able to, and love seeing them progress with their piano skills

I aim to offer my students as fast progression as possible, so they are amazed by what they have achieved. For example, a 9 year old I am teaching who was a beginner, learnt to play für elise. I focus on teaching the students the pieces that they want to learn, and helping them play songs they love. If a student wants to do grades in piano, I can also focus on ensuring they are prepared as well as possible for their exams. I also believe in bringing a composition element into my lessons, and teaching students how they can compose and express themselves creatively.
