My approach as an English tutor
I am Carmen, a teacher with experience working with children and a true passion for teaching. My goal is for every child to learn English in a dynamic, practical, and fun way, while building the confidence to communicate.
My teaching methods and techniques
I use a communicative approach tailored to each student's age and proficiency level. I combine:
Educational games and interactive activities.
Songs, stories, and videos in English.
Simple conversations and pronunciation exercises.
Vocabulary related to everyday situations.
Reading, writing, listening comprehension, and speaking activities.
Repetition and positive practice to reinforce what has been learned.
A typical lesson plan
Each class begins with a brief review of previous material. I then introduce new vocabulary or topics using visual aids and simple examples. Next, we practice through games, conversation, and exercises. Finally, we do a quick recap to check understanding and reinforce knowledge.

I am known for being patient, responsible, creative, and approachable. I understand that every child learns at a different pace, so I tailor activities to their specific needs and interests. I strive to create a safe environment where children feel comfortable speaking English without the fear of making mistakes.
Who are my classes for?
My classes are primarily aimed at children at beginner and elementary levels, ranging from preschool to primary school. I can also adapt lessons for students who need to strengthen their English vocabulary, pronunciation, comprehension, and conversational skills.
My goal is for children not only to learn English but also to enjoy the process and build self-confidence.
