About Lexie
I’ve always loved getting to know new people and understanding how their minds work. Everyone learns differently, and I enjoy figuring out the best way to explain things so that it truly clicks for each student. Helping someone go from feeling stuck or confused to feeling confident and capable is one of the most rewarding parts of tutoring for me.
I have experience tutoring students from elementary school all the way through college, which has allowed me to work with a wide range of learning styles, subjects, and academic goals. While I enjoy working with all subjects, my strengths are in English, science, and statistics.
My goal as a tutor is to create a relaxed, encouraging space where students feel comfortable asking questions, thinking through problems, and building confidence in their abilities. I believe learning works best when students feel supported, understood, and motivated to grow.

As a psychology graduate from Clemson University with a minor in Youth Development, I have a strong understanding of effective learning and teaching strategies across different age groups. My background allows me to tailor lessons to each student’s individual learning style, helping them build confidence and truly understand the material.
In my current role as an early interventionist, I work closely with children with developmental delays, adapting strategies to meet each child’s unique needs and learning pace. This experience has strengthened my ability to be patient, creative, and flexible in my teaching approach.
I have always been passionate about learning and education, and I enjoy helping students reach their full potential. As a tutor, my goal is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing the skills they need to succeed.
