About Joan
I always introduce and describe myself as "A Helping Hand Instructor" to all students regardless of grade level. I enjoy encouraging them to take another step because every action matters. Be more inquisitive, and do not be afraid to fail. Knowledge and curiosity give us the power to change our world. You should never stop asking"WHY?"

I come on time prepared for all my classes, so I expect that from my students. I want everyone to feel comfortable and interact with me. Depending on the subject a student can give their own point of interest for a class topic. I construct my lessons to the level of the person I am tutoring so before anyone joins my class I have to be given an idea of where they are or I will have to test them myself. I am a multi-purpose tutor from elementary to high school.
