About Samuel
I received my B.A. in Music with a focus in clarinet performance and conducting from Hillsdale College. I am a two-time winner of the college concerto/aria competition and performed both times with the Hillsdale College Symphony Orchestra. I am passionate about sharing my love of music with students and helping to cultivate their love of beauty and the arts.

I strive to maintain a holistic approach with my teaching. I think it is important to develop my students as musicians, not just clarinetists. This looks like learning solid clarinet technique, strengthening the muscle musicality and intuition, and music theory tailored to the student’s level and the repertoire being studied.
