About Alex
As well as recently graduating from art school, I have also worked in early childhood education for 7 years. Most of my family are also educators and professors, or work around the eduaction sector, creating curriculums and teaching programs. I teach as a way of retaining knowledge and I also enjoy connecting with people on subjects they love to learn about. I believe I can learn a lot from my students as much as they can learn from me.

My lesson plans are free flowing and revolve around the students interests and needs. I can assist and teach for specific outcome, and also I can teach open-endedly. My lessons usually go for an hour and a half to two hours, depending on the content. I do not have any prior professional tutoring experience, however I have helped a few friends and family with art and art history work. I can also help with portfolio prep for high school students looking to get into art school, but I can cater lesson plans for all ages.
