About Elizabeth
I've been a nurse for 3 years with experience in Telemetry and Progressive Care. I enjoy teaching others by utilizing their learning styles as much as possible. My favorite subjects are pathophysiology- specifically cardiology and endocrinology. In practice I've seen a lot of CHF, sepsis, and DKA, which are my favorite topics to discuss.

Nursing school is difficult and can often feel like professors are breezing through the material. It's okay to need additional resources to help you understand topics, in fact, I encourage it. Understanding a topic means you can teach it to others, especially patients! Patient education is one of the main reasons I decided to pursue nursing as a career. When I grew up, I realized my family didn't understand their diseases and only knew the title, and this isn't uncommon. I want you to be able to understand and teach what you're learning in school. It'll help you pass your exams, the NCLEX, and it'll help your patients.
I ask that you let me know the topics your discussing in class or having trouble with before sessions, so I can have materials ready beforehand.
