About Chiara
I come from Milan, Italy, where I have studied on the acting foundation year of the Civic School of Theatre Paolo Grassi. I subsequently moved to London to attend the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama on the Contemporary Performance Practice: Drama, Applied Theatre and Education course. As a director, I specialized in multilingualism and interculturalism. As an educator, I have had the pleasure to collaborate with multiple organizations that use Drama as a tool to empower the future generation of creatives. I have also worked with children for more than 6 years, as a babysitter, tutor, nursery practitioner and drama and Italian teacher. I am currently working with PSYCHEdelight Theatre Company of Sanctuary, devising plays with asylum seekers and refugees. Recent credits include "Mohand & Peter" at Southwark Playhouse (8 March- 2 April), "Snowflake" at Brighton Fringe (May 2022), "Grey Area" at Above the Stag (Dec 2021).

I am a passionate theatre director with extensive experience in Theatre education. I graduated from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama with First Class Honours while specialising in Pedagogy and Education. I am offering drama, acting, devising and directing lessons suitable for every level of experience, and all ages.
My background in childcare with the youngest (3-15) includes working as a Drama teacher in primary schools as well as for Body and Soul Charity and Role Models - companies that use drama to inspire and empower kids with valuable and transferable life skills. To study Theatre means to gain confidence, creativity and independent thinking.
In my everyday life I also coach professional actors and performers to help them prepare for auditions, castings and performances. My methods are inspired by the most influential directors and coaches in the world: Peter Brook, Eimuntas Nekrosius and Gabriele Vacis to name a few. The duration of the lessons vary according to age and level, and can be between 1 and 3 hours.
The objectives of the lessons are agreed with the students (or their parents) according to their needs, and the sessions are prepared with a tailored approach to identify areas of improvement and achieve the best results, on and off stage.
