About Stephen
I earned my BA in chemistry from FGCU in 2018 and then immediately traveled cross country to start graduate school at UNR. I studied under Wesley Chalifoux for 5 years and received my doctorate in 2023. During my time in graduate school I taught chemistry labs, both general and organic, tutored twice a week, and worked in a synthetic organic lab where I made large aromatic molecules. I have a first author publication in JOC (Journal of Organic Chemistry) and have more papers coming out in the future. You are in good hands with me - I have seen it all and done it all. I can help you reach your chemistry goals!

My approach as a tutor is to let you, the student, go at a pace you are comfortable with. Chemistry is a very challenging subject, but it's not impossible. The only way to learn is to do it and making mistakes is a part of the journey. This is a safe space with no judgment - I want to help you! This is for all levels of learners, so don't feel scared about joining my lessons. I like to keep things fun and light.
