I have been teaching 9th grade Literature and Composition for over 5 years. I base my class on love, learning, and overall an experience that students will remember. A typical day starts with a warm-up from the previous day's work, moves onto the information being taught for the day, and a wrap-up of the information presented. These lessons are geared towards 9th grade students struggling with reading, writing, and analyzing literature. I strive to make sure each student feels as if they are getting the full attention they deserve and that they are being listened to and supported. I encourage students to make mistakes, to self-evaluate, and just listen and learn in the area they struggle with the most!
