About Shijie

My name is Shijie Bian, a senior undergraduate student who graduated from UCLA with a major in Mathematics of Computation, and a minor in Statistics. I got admitted to Carnegie Mellon University's Master of Computational Data Science program, where I will continue my study and research in Computer Science. I have a strong background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, and Machine Learning-related Research. I have participated in numerous R&D projects directed by UCLA, UC Irvine, Autodesk, NASA JPL, and CSU Northridge. I also have 3 first-author publications and numerous co-authored papers under review.

About the lesson

- Teaching Method:
Online teaching, with PPTs and live coding. For each class, the first half-section would be going through definitions and concepts, the second half would be going through practice problems and their solutions. There will be practice questions as homework after each class, to which I will provide answers.
