My lessons are designed with the student in mind while following the North Carolina State Standards for learning. I believe that all children can learn and I am eager to see the "light bulb" come on when a student gets the concept. A typical lesson will include real life application so that my student/students make a connection with learning. What sets me apart as a tutor is that I have extensive experience with grades 3rd - 6th and have taught all ability levels of students. For 7 straight years, I had the top English/Language Arts E.O.G. (End of Grade) test scores in 6th grade in my entire county.
