About Jessica

I am a 22 year old who has recently graduated from Newcastle University studying Modern Languages, Translation and Interpreting. I have studied Spanish since the age of 10 and understand the difficulties that can come with learning a new language. I am a very kind and patient person and I would like to tutor because I feel it will allow me to learn new things at the same time as teaching and helping others too. I also volunteered as a Spanish tutor whilst I was studying A-levels and thoroughly enjoyed it.

About the lesson

I would aim to make the lessons as interactive and engaging as possible, whilst focusing on the topics which the student finds difficult in a positive way. I would also use a range of materials, such as videos, songs and games to ensure every lesson is new and exciting.

Jess is a fantastic tutor. She has really helped my daughter progress with Spanish writing, speaking and vocab, consolidating the basics whilst pushing to stretch other areas of the language. She is very knowledgeable and has a passion for all things Spanish as well as bestowing her love of learning a language to others. Jess was punctual, an easy communicator and made the lessons fun and enjoyable. My daughter looked forward to her lessons despite being in the middle of the summer holidays! I will be using Jess in the future and definitely recommend her to others.
