About Somitri
I am a Computer Science graduate with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Currently, I am preparing for the CAT examination with the goal of pursuing my MBA from one of the prestigious IIMs. Throughout my academic journey—from school to graduation—I have consistently excelled in all subjects, with a particular strength in Mathematics. I have always had a strong foundation in the subject, which has played a key role in both my academic success and my technical studies. Beyond academics, I am passionate about sharing knowledge and helping others overcome their difficulties in understanding concepts. I enjoy simplifying complex ideas, guiding students step by step, and ensuring they build confidence in their learning. My aim is not just to help students solve problems, but to make them truly understand and enjoy the subject.

I believe that learning mathematics should be clear, approachable, and even enjoyable. My tutoring style focuses on detailed explanations, real-life examples, and simple tricks that make even the most complex topics easy to understand. I am very patient, friendly, and approachable, creating a comfortable environment where students feel confident to ask questions and learn at their own pace.
Over the years, I have been consistently appreciated for my natural ability to explain concepts in a way that “just makes sense.” Friends, peers, and students alike have often praised my teaching skills, noting that I have an inbuilt talent for breaking down concepts and teaching them in a structured and effective manner.
One of my proudest achievements was tutoring a student from Grade 8 to Grade 10. She initially struggled with her studies, but through my guidance, she not only improved her understanding but eventually secured first place in her class during exams. This transformation reinforced my belief that with the right teaching method and encouragement, every student can excel in mathematics.
What makes my style unique is that I don’t just teach students how to solve problems—I teach them how to understand the “why” behind the solution, building a strong foundation that helps them tackle future challenges with confidence.
If you are looking for a tutor who is dedicated, patient, and genuinely invested in your growth, I would be excited to help you succeed in Algebra, Trigonometry, and beyond.
Would you like me to make a shorter, more engaging version of this as well (for platforms like Superprof where students skim through profiles quickly), while keeping this detailed version for the full description?
