About Thomas
For the past 25 years I have successfully taught mathematics at the middle, high school, and collegiate levels. I have taught every mathematical course from sixth grade through Calculus-based Statistics. I hold both graduate and undergraduate degrees in the mathematical sciences.

Effective mathematical instruction occurs as a collaboration between the instructor and the pupil. I ensure that my students gain mastery of mathematical concepts not only by utilizing sound problem solving techniques, but also through the incorporation of critical thinking skills as well as infusing the curriculum with deductive and inductive reasoning. Students ultimately demonstrate mastery and synthesis of mathematical subject matter by teaching concepts back to their instructor and peers.
