About Nicole
I graduated from Union University in 2019 with a degree in Theatre with Honors. My focus there was Costume Design and Construction - and over my years there I was the primary designer and costume shop manager on over 5 shows.
I worked on costumes at the Contemporary American Theatre in West Virginia, and at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire. I have also worked in a few Bridal Boutiques doing alterations, as well as private alterations.
I am also a costume hobbyist - I go to conventions and make cosplays, and I've made several halloween costumes for myself and friends!

Are you looking to make your own costumes? Cosplay, theatre, or halloween? Do you have a dress or outfit that you LOVE but just wont fit? I can help!
My method and techniques are relaxed and experience-focused - I'll take you from the very basics all the way to the end product. I make sure that you understand the little things first to ensure that you don't just do something - you understand why you are doing it!
I primarily focus on teaching people who are currently in undergrad and looking to expand their skills or under that level.

I have had the pleasure of watching Nicole's skills as a designer and seamstress grow over the last 8 years.
Nicole first ventured into sewing to make her own clothes, but quickly branched out into making one-of-a-kind character costumes and participated in several Comic-Cons. Her personal area of expertise however, branched out into costuming for theater and period pieces for the local Renaissance venue that attracts thousands of visitors each season.
