About Genna

My passion teach stems from a place of experience- experience in being a student for so long, and knowing how help can really allow one to excel. I am not here to prove that I know more, or that you know less. I am here to support, guide and feed the knowledge that is already instilled in you. Like the Reggio approach to childcare and human development, children and humans in general are not empty vessels, rather, we are born with our own knowledge. Educators, teachers and tutor are there to allow you that confidence to put it into writing.

About the lesson

I believe that the road is just as important as the destination.
Can I teach my students ways and methods to get that score or grade they want? Absolutely! But, the path to get there, the strategies, the planning and skillset they will achieve along the way, will be something my students will utilise in the future, not just in the now.
Trial and error and my own experience has taught me that1-2 hours of working is best for attainable and retainable information, so in my sessions, I typically aim for 1 to 2 hours, unless longer requested.
I cater for pre school, primary school and high school and really believe in nurturing the student, creating an enjoyable environment in the lesson and getting the job done!
