About ME: Hi~! My name is Kenita. I am from China. I am a native speaker of Mandarin, and I studied Chinese literature and linguistics when I was pursuing my bachelor's degree. Now, I am a postgraduate student at ANU pursuing my Master's degree. I cannot wait to share all of my previous knowledge about Chinese with you guys~! Previous Experiences: 1. Conduct online Chinese language teaching on the ClassIn platform, targeting foreign students at Central South University with elementary proficiency in Chinese. 2. Create vocabulary and grammar teaching PowerPoint presentations, draft lesson plans, and conduct post-lesson summaries and error analysis. Teaching comprises 4 sessions, with all 15 attending students passing the HSK Level 4 examination (June 2021).

Teaching comprises 4 sessions, with all 15 attending students passing the HSK Level 4 examination (June 2021). Lessons Information · Target Student: No matter if you are a beginner or already have some foundation, as long as you wish to learn Chinese, come and join my classes~! Based on different learning objectives, I categorize students into two types: 1. Target-oriented students: those who need to pass Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK); 2. Interest-oriented students: those who are interested in Chinese, want to learn the language, understand Chinese characters, or Chinese culture. · Teaching Methodology 1. For target-oriented student: based on your proficiency level, covering pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and Chinese characters. Before class, there will be lively story introductions. During class, systematic teaching materials and mini-tests. After class, there will be small assignments to ensure learning effectiveness and accompany you to pass the exam within the target time. 2.For Interest-oriented students: focuses on the practical application of Chinese language skills and includes abundant audiovisual materials. It will guide you to learn pronunciation and meanings of Chinese language through understanding of Chinese culture, as well as the form and meaning of Chinese characters. If you need oral Chinese practice, I am also willing to provide assistance at any time. · Typical Length: 30-60 min (it won't be too long per lesson) · Teaching Mode: prefer online (if you are in Canberra, offline teaching is also possible)
