About Maried

I have helped many students the past 5-10 years as I was also tutoring kids and adults in PR to learn Spanish and other major subjects like math. I helped a family learn Spanish when they moved from the states to Puerto Rico in 2019 and they are now fluent and loving the life in Puerto Rico.

About the lesson

¡Hola! As a native Spanish speaker from Puerto Rico with over 5 years of experience living in the United States, I offer a unique blend of cultural authenticity and adaptability to the American educational system. Here are some compelling reasons why students should take classes with me: 1. *Native Fluency*: As a native Spanish speaker, I possess a deep understanding of the language, its nuances, and idiomatic expressions. Students will benefit from my natural pronunciation, intonation, and grammar. 2. *Cultural Insights*: Growing up in Puerto Rico, I have a rich cultural background that I can share with students. This will help them gain a deeper understanding of the language, its context, and the diverse cultures that speak Spanish. 3. *Real-World Experience*: Having lived in the United States for over 5 years, I have a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities of communicating in Spanish in an English-dominated environment. I can provide students with practical advice and strategies for using Spanish in real-world situations. 4. *Effective Communication*: As someone who has navigated the complexities of language and culture in both Puerto Rico and the United States, I am well-equipped to communicate complex ideas and concepts in a clear, concise, and engaging manner. 5. *Passion and Enthusiasm*: I am passionate about sharing my language and culture with others, and I am committed to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters students' growth and development. By taking classes with me, students will not only improve their Spanish language skills but also gain a deeper understanding of the culture, history, and nuances of the Spanish-speaking world. ¡Vamos a aprender español juntos! (Let's learn Spanish together!)
