About Alia
I am an international student in London, studying culinary industry management because my dream would be to become a pastry chef. I am outgoing, patient and I always try to make people feel comfortable around me. I graduated from a French high school in Morocco and obtained the French baccalaureate with honours and I got an 18/20 on both the written and oral French language exam. I have always loved tutoring, even during high school I used to help my friends study for their exams all the time. I view this as a fun activity! I am also very passionate about the French language, I think that, although it is quite complicated, it is one of the most beautiful languages ever. French poetry, books and music are simply my favourites and getting to share this passion would be a great pleasure.

I believe the best way to learn a language is practice. For instance, I learnt English naturally while watching TV shows, movies or listening to music, and now I am fluent. Being exposed to the language that much taught me more than the school subject ever did! I like to teach French by using audiovisual support, engaging in conversations and challenging the student’s memory, all of that without forgetting to study grammar, conjugation and vocabulary. With me, you would learn to speak and write in the most natural way possible!
