About Geo
I'm a college graduate seeking to finish my degree in political science. My dream job is to become a college professor. I have my TEFL certificate and I finished my practicum of 20+ hours in Brazil teaching ESL students. I make sure you understand the lesson objectives and teach English in a digestible, simple way so that you can get the basics of English. I'm a big believer in conversational english because learning to have a conversation in the target language is key to learning. I first get to know the student so I can understand their style of learning. I start with my lesson plan's objectives and what they'll learn by the end of the lesson. I take them by the hand at first and show them how to have them learn by themselves. Students are able to learn when they are capable to teach themselves. I teach teenagers and adults grades 8 and up.
