About Margie

I have a BA degree in elementary education. I have taught for over 25 years in various schools. I have mainly worked with students using the A Beka curriculum.

I have worked with students who came into my 5th grade classroom who were tested at a 3rd grade level. I was able to tutor them sufficiently until they were working at a 5th grade level in a few months.

About the lesson

Have a lot of experience working with students having difficulty in understanding some basic math skills: fractions, percentages, faction decimal equivalences and other general concepts.

Have worked mainly with upper elementary students.

I also have expertise in teaching grammar skills. Especially parts of speech and diagramming sentences.
