About Eve
I am a guitar tutor with 6 years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Guitar Emphasis. I have worked with over 150 students from young beginners to adult learners across acoustic, classical, electric, and bass guitar. My lessons cover scales, modes, rhythm, chord harmony, songwriting, and performance preparation. I am passionate about helping every student find genuine joy and creative confidence in playing. My lessons are structured, encouraging, and always adapted to the individual. I have helped students perform live, record original music, and pass graded examinations. My guitar lessons develop technique, creativity, and musical understanding in a progressive and genuinely enjoyable way throughout every session. I begin with a thorough assessment of each student's current level, goals, and musical interests so that lessons are always immediately relevant and purposeful. Warm-ups develop scales, chord changes, and picking exercises to build the physical coordination and muscle memory needed for fluid and confident playing. Theory is connected directly to the music students are working on in every lesson so every concept has immediate practical meaning and application. Songwriting students receive focused dedicated coaching on chord harmony, melody development, lyric accompaniment, and turning personal musical ideas into finished original compositions. Students preparing for live performance work on stage confidence, consistency under pressure, and the mental approach needed for performing in front of an audience. I use backing tracks at every level to develop timing, groove, and genuine musical expressiveness in the student's playing. Digital tools including DAWs, chord apps, and amp simulators are incorporated to reflect the modern music-making landscape students actually inhabit. Clear weekly practice plans ensure students make consistent measurable progress between sessions and always know how to use their home practice time most effectively. My commitment is to help every student become a confident, creative, and genuinely passionate guitarist.
