Real world examples : Everybody knows the bookish words, infact the students themselves can read them. It’s when he/she correlated it with a real world scenario and i connected with the concept.
Build faith : It’s very common for a student to think that his/her teacher is not worth. Make such an impression, that they are bound by your wisdom and become more attentive.
Connect with them : A student feels privileged, when you call him by his/her name, appreciate his/her answer or personally correct them. Practice these things occasionally and you will find your students being eager to attend your classes.
