About Manuel
I am a linguist who has always been passionate about languages and language teaching in general. I love trying to convey my passion to my student, because I think that learning language can very easily become a funand enjoyable journey. I feel extremely happy and proud whenever I notice boosts in my students' confidence. I am highly communicative and patient.

My lessons are highly functional, with a communicative approach that focuses on making the students acquire usable language skills, rather than just teaching lots of abstract grammar rules. Grammar is fundamental to mastering a language, but it must be a means to learn how to speak accurately, not an end. Whenever I explain grammar rules, I always make sure to teach my students how and when to use each structure. Finally, as a linguist with considerable phonetic background, I always focus on correct pronunciation, as this is normally a critical point for most learners, and the number one reason why they can't understand native speakers or be understood by them.
