About Allison
I have taught in the State of Ohio for 18 years. I have worked with all grade levels of students. I have been trained in the Orton-Gillingham program, UFLI program, and Heggerty Programs. These are all beginning reading skills programs that rely on systematic, explicit teaching of skills. Most of my career has been focused on teaching reading skills to students.

I am an 18-year veteran teacher. I focus mainly on teaching students beginning reading skills. I do this by using systematic, explicit phonemic awareness, phonics, and reading comprehension skills. I have helped my students both in the classroom and in my private tutoring to raise their reading skills.
