About Julia
My name is Julia and I am currently on my gap year, starting my studies at Oxford in October this year. I have secured this place by achieving A*A*A at A level in History, English Literature and Psychology. I have also achieved mostly 8s and 9s at GCSE, both in STEM and humanities subjects. Since then I have both peer tutored at college and tutored students during this gap year, with positive feedback and visible improvement in their grades.

Teaching and learning are incredibly personal processes, which is why I adapt my methods based on every person’s needs. Using methods that have been backed by research, I can ensure that students achieve more than they believe, by providing a personalised approach missing in the classroom environment. Having gotten into Oxford through rigorous studying, I have plenty of experience that I intend to use to help you, no matter what level you are at.
My session length ranges from 1-2hrs, depending on preference. During this time we will go over content, assisted revision, exam techniques and questions.
