About Simon
I am a Head of Department for Computing and ICT within a school in Luton. I've worked in education for 6 years with experience of teaching students from a variety of backgrounds and skill levels in computing.
My main areas of expertise are in the following KS4 courses:
- OCR GCSE Computer Science
- Edexcel GCSE Computer Science
- BTEC Tech Award in Digital Information Technology.

I ask my pupils to take a KSU (Knowledge, Skills and Understanding) audit to identify areas of strength and weakness with the specification. I then plan my teaching around this to ensure lessons and meaningful and purposeful.
