About the lesson

I'm an experienced educator and the founder of The Small School in Santa Fe, where I'm dedicated to helping students become capable, confident, and independent learners. My tutoring approach is rooted in the belief that students learn best when they are truly known and understood. I work with students in grades 4–12, offering individualized support that meets each student where they are, whether they are strengthening foundational skills, navigating challenging coursework, or developing greater confidence and independence in their learning. With an emphasis on critical thinking, curiosity, and meaningful relationships, I strive to make learning both rigorous and rewarding.
