About Elyse
With my background in the writing center I have had specific training on how to tailor proofreading notes to encourage your growth in writing with direction but not a set path. Individuality and expression can come in all forms, and while we encourage this individuality, it must be structured to a grading curve unfortunately. This can be hard for new writers, because they want to explore the worlds they can create within pages but stay within grading parameters. That is where writing centers and proofreaders come in, they take all the amazing individuality and expression and try to mesh it to the assignment parameters and keep your writers within the set assigned world while expressing that individuality.
