About Ruth
I live in Recife now but I was born in the United States and I grew up in Venezuela. Spanish and English are my main languages. I am a teacher of English in one of the most popular schools in Brazil and I also teach Spanish. I love making students talk, even the most shy. I believe is very important to allow students to make mistakes in order for them to learn. I like to make my students have fun while they learn and strengthen their confidence.

-I also teach Advanced students, who just want to practice, reinforce their conversation and learn more vocabulary, phrasal verbs, idioms, and expressions.
-I am very focused on conversation and pronunciation.
-A strong grammar base is important to sustain the language.
-I Like to expand the vocabulary depending on the student. I adapt to the requirements the student may have. If they need to learn the language for negotiations, traveling, formal conversation or any other subject, we will focus on that exactly.

Perfect! Ruth é uma professora incrível, consegue conduzir as aulas de forma a elevar rapidamente o nível da fluência no idioma. Além sempre trazer novas maneiras lúdicas para fixar a gramática. Ela de fato se preocupa com a evolução do seu aluno.
Excelente professora, recomendo.- Aluno muito fiel, pontual e amigo. Estamos crescendo juntos no aprendizado dele. Cada mês temos desafios e progressos. Perfect! Excelente professora de Inglês e de espanhol. Eu tive aulas nos 2 idiomas e foram muito produtivas. Sempre com foco na conversação e estimulando um aprendizado contínuo mesmo fora do horário das aulas com o envio de textos, vídeos e músicas pelo WhatsApp.
