About Savannah
Hello, my name is Savannah Rivera and I graduated with a First Class (Hons) in BSc Biomedical Science from King's College London. I am currently working as a Research Technician in the liver department of King's College Hospital. Having successfully finished Biology, Chemistry and Maths A Levels, I can empathise with students on the stressful nature of both GCSEs and A Levels and work together to help them in making sure they do the best they can.
I am very open in terms of teaching style and can adapt to how students feel most comfortable and most successful teaching style. I, myself, have explored several teaching ways from speaking out loud, using flashcards, diagrams, story telling and even memorising. From this, I have learnt that a combination of most of these works best to trigger the memory-retaining side of our brain.
