About Sanjana
With a strong academic background, including graduating summa cum laude from Emory University in Quantitative Sciences on the Biology Track and Chemistry, I am well-equipped to help you succeed in physics. I bring years of tutoring experience, from KUMON to university-level peer tutoring at Emory, where I developed and adapted physics lessons for various learning styles. My teaching approach emphasizes understanding over memorization, using interactive techniques to simplify complex concepts. I actively customize my premade lessons to address each student's specific challenges. Based on their areas of difficulty, I create diagrams and visuals during the lesson to enhance understanding and develop hypothetical problems for us to solve together. My lessons are ideal for high school (IB/AP) and college students, ensuring a comprehensive and supportive learning experience.

As a tutor, my teaching method focuses on guiding students through content rather than lecturing, ensuring they grasp complex concepts through interactive lessons and practice problems. I use my experience in struggling with physics to create relatable, simplified explanations. A typical lesson includes a mix of concept teaching, problem-solving, and interactive questioning. What sets me apart is my empathy for students' struggles and my tailored approach to individual learning styles. My lessons cater to high school (IB/AP) and college students taking introductory physics, aiming to make the subject less daunting and more accessible.
